Belajar Matematika Sambil Main di Pantai, Mengapa Tidak?

Liburan sekolah, anda dan keluarga pasti merencanakan untuk meluangkan waktu liburan di tempat wisata. Anda sekeluarga mungkin pergi ke rumah famili, pergi ke tempat wisata yang sejuk, atau ke pantai.  Bila anda pergi ke pantai, ada beberapa ide untuk mengajak anak-anak bermain sambil belajar matematika.

Matematika batu-batuan dan kulit kerang

Pertama-tama anda ajak keluarga mengumpulkan batu-batu kecil dan kulit kerang yang ada di pantai.

Siapkan beberapa wadah seperti gelas air minuman bekas atau bila pasir pantai cukup lunak, anda bisa menggali lubang-lubang kecil di pasir.

Anak-anak  bisa mulai belajar matematika sambil bermain.

·         Penambahan

Tuliskan soal penambahan, misalnya : “4 + 5 = ... “ di pasir dengan menggunakan tongkat atau jari. Mintalah anak memasukkan 4 batu di wadah atau lubang pertama dan 5 batu di lubang kedua. Tanyakan “Jadi berapa empat ditambah lima?” Kemudian minta anak-anak mengumpulkan batu-batu dari kedua lubang dan menghitung semuanya. Tuliskan jawabannya “4 + 5 = 9”. Ulangi beberapa kali dengan soal baru. Anda dapat menggunakan 3-5 lubang misalnya untuk soal "3 + 6 + 7 + 2 + 1= ..."


Pengurangan 

P   Tulis soal pengurangan di pasir, misalnya “11 – 7 = ...” Mintalah anak memasukkan 11 batu dalam satu lubang, lalu mengeluarhan 7 batu dari lubang itu. Kemudian mintalah anak menghitung batu-batu yang tersisa. Tulis jawabannya pada soal “11 – 7 = 4”

·         Perkalian

Tulis soal perkalian di pasir, misalnya “3 X 4 = ...”. Mintalah anak memasukkan masing-masing 3 batu ke dalam 4 lubang dan kemudian menghitung semua batu. Tuliskan jawabannya atau minta anak menulis “3 X 4 = 12”

·         Pembagian

Anda harus memastikan bahwa jumlah batu yang akan dibagi habis dibagi angka pembaginya, misalnya, “8 : 4 = ...”. Tulis soal di pasir. Mintalah anak mengumpulkan 8 batu, kemudian siapkan 4 lubang berderet dan mintalah anak mengambil 8 batu yang sudah disiapkan tadi dan memasukkan 1 batu ke lubang-lubang berurutan. Setelah masing-masing lubang terisi 1 batu, kemudian kembali ke lubang pertama dan ulangi masukkan satu batu lagi ke masing-masing lubang berurutan lagi, sampai kedelapan batu habis terbagi. Mintalah anak-anak menghitung batu pada tiap lubang. Pastikan anak memperhatikan bahwa jumlah batu pada tiap lubang sama. Katakan dan tuliskan jawabannya, “Jadi “8 : 4 = 2” 

Anak-anak lebih mudah belajar sambil bermain dan bersenang-senang. Selamat bermain sambil belajar!

Brad And Angelina Might Marry in September

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have done a lot of good in their lives. I actually don't really know any of the specifics, but I know they visit orphanages and recycle and help children and rescue things and build solar powered buildings and lots of other truly amazing things that I don't do because I'm too busy sending my mom videos of the world's first dog to receive four prosthetic legs. So to my mom, I'm doing really good things, because then she gets to share the videos with her friends who are so clueless they're trying to browse the internet in their Finder windows and my mom gets to look like a hotshot for being so hip. Obviously my do-gooding doesn't compare to Angelina and Brad's do-gooding, but who cares! Even Hallmark cards come in different sizes.

Throughout all their doing good, they've never been allowed to stop talking about when they'd get married and make their six children honest. But today comes the news that apparently, they're planning to actually tie the knot in September at their estate in France, and all their children will be involved. Sounds nice, right? It sure is! But this is a pretty new development in their relationship. You see in the past, whenever a reporter has asked them if they planned to get married, they used to say things like, "we don't need marriage. We already know we want to be together forever" and "we're too busy picking up solar panels from Home Depot to plan anything." That part was fine because they made it seem like they just didn't want to do it or believed it just wasn't the lifestyle for them. Again, that was fine. But recently, they seemed on the verge of considering marriage because a few other times when they were asked if they'd ever wed, they said they would do so when gay marriage was legalized.

Now, I'm a supporter of gay marriage. Everyone should be able to do it or not do it or whatever. I just believe it should be allowed, like how wearing overalls is. And so while I also understood how Angelina and Brad were saying that marriage doesn't symbolize anything unless it's a right that everyone has, I did not agree with their failure to realize how their incredible celebrity status meant that their allegiance to a cause made the statement that people who didn't wait to get married until the legalization of gay marriage do not have any principles and do not care about the world they live in. It was also kind of shocking that they phrased their commitment to a cause (again, one that I agree with!) in such a way that it made it seem like only once gay marriage was legal would they reward the world with their union. And even if this is entire thing is out of proportion (which it seems like it is since they might end up getting married before gay marriage is legal anyway), it's peculiar how two people who are supposed to be so in tune with other people's needs wouldn't realize how superior the proclamation of their love could come across as.

Katy Perry Tells Rolling Stone About Her Breasts

Katy Perry became a worldwide sensation right from the start! This pop-star may be known for her voluptuous curves, but according to her recent interview with Rolling Stone (hits stands on Friday) she wasn't always thankful for her upper body assets. “Someone in sixth grade called me ‘Over-the-shoulder boulder holder....I didn’t know I could use them. So, what I did was, I started taping them down… probably until I was about 19.” Well it appears like Perry is getting the last laugh in the end. Not only has she become her own Teenage Dream for boys/men all over the world, but she tied the knot with English heartthrob, Russell Brand. I bet those sixth graders are eating their words now!

Perry also just set the record as the first artist ever to have at least one song on Billboard’s Hot 100 list for an entire year.
While this should be seen by all as an incredible accomplishment, Perry claims she still gets questioned about her musical talent. Perry states, "Whenever people ask me about having bad reviews, I’m like, ‘Have you seen the run I’ve had? Have you see the numbers? Numbers do not lie!" They certainly don't. Granted these songs aren't going to go down in history as the greatest songs of all time, but whether you're out dancing at a club with friends or relaxing out by the pool, Katy's your girl. Come on people, let's give credit where credit is due - not many people can pull off blue hair and still look hot.

Lindsay Lohan Avoids Serving Jail Time Once Again

Yes, you read the title correctly. Lindsay Lohan will live to drink another day. Today, Lindsay returned to court because she failed an alcohol test on either June 12th or June 13th, which meant she violated the terms of her house arrest. The judge ruled that the previous judge on Lohan's case only ordered testing for controlled substances and had in fact ordered the removal of her SCRAM bracelet (meaning Lindsay's alcohol consumption wasn't even supposed to be monitored) so I guess then technically, she didn't violate her parole. Seriously though, how many more times is this girl going to be let off the hook? She's probably failing these tests on purpose by this point just to see if she can get away with it. Ridiculous. Today the judge was quoted saying that Lohan is only guilty of “extremely poor judgment.” I see the logic there....because most jails are filled up with people who have made extremely good judgment.

Lohan will remain in house arrest, but will only be allowed to have one friend over at a time. I remember having my parents enforce that rule when I was 5....not almost 25. Now is the judge trying to prevent Lindsay's friends from corrupting her or is it the other way around? I'm leaning more toward the latter.

All I have to say is WHERE IS BETTY WHITE?!?! Paris can not be more popular than Betty...I refuse to believe it. Some names were a no brainer (Oprah, Katy Perry, J-Lo), but some were a little shocking like Cher and Ashley Tisdale (HSM was so 2008). Not that surprised who took the number one spot though - everyone's Gaga for Gaga. Love that Ms. Monroe is still on the list, further proving that classics never go out of style.

Lindsay Lohan Fails Alcohol Test

Just as she was informing us of all the "work-related meetings" she's been having while she's been under house arrest and encouraging us to bid on big screen televisions in penny increments on beezid.com, it is now being reported that Lindsay Lohan failed a random alcohol test on either June 12th or June 13th. Since one of the terms of her probation stipulated that she couldn't drink alcohol while she was under house arrest, she will be going back to court this morning to appear in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner, who could decide to actually send Lindsay to jail again. It was noted that at the time Lindsay tested dirty for alcohol she was also being tested for drugs, but it turns out her system was clear of narcotics.

Even if Judge Sautner wants to give Lindsay a second chance with the house arrest thing, she might not even be able to. It turns out the company responsible for monitoring Lindsay's electronic bracelet is apparently claiming it doesn't want to anymore. A source said, "They don't want to continue to monitor since they have been notified that Lindsay violated terms of her probation. The drinking occurred while she was under house arrest." I'm no professional, but it seems like if an alcoholic monitoring bracelet company doesn't want to monitor you anymore, you have bigger problems then getting people to go to a website where the Monopoly man is dressed up like a bee.

Ryan Dunn Was Intoxicated While Driving

We've suspected, we've assumed, we've even tweeted about our thoughts as to what caused the crash and death of Jackass' Ryan Dunn, and now we finally have our answer. It has now been confirmed that Dunn was intoxicated while driving his Porche on Monday morning. After an autopsy and toxicology report, it was discovered that Dunn had more than twice the legal alcohol limit in his system (his blood alcohol level was .196 while the legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08). That means Dunn had consumed at least three beers and several shots with his friends just hours before the accident occurred.

According to West Goshen Police Chief, Michael Carroll, "No other substances were found in his blood other than the alcohol." Both Dunn and passenger, Zachary Hartwell, died instantly by blunt force head trauma upon impact, before their vehicle burst into flames. The car was completely destroyed.

This is an awful tragedy and just reaffirms how dangerous it is to mix drinking and driving. Let's continue to promote awareness in an attempt to prevent others from meeting a fate like Dunn's.

The Amazing Spider-Man may have wrapped in May, but this couple's love story has just begun. A source states that, "They got close during filming and have been hooking up," but initially wanted to keep things quiet due to Garfield's recent split with his girlfriend of 3 years, Raising Hope actress, Shannon Woodward. The insider says "they haven't gone public, but he's told his friends." Seems like the keeping-it-under-wraps thing is working out quite well so far.

The pair was spotted flirting throughout the ceremony and were seen chatting with one another at an afterparty. Ashanty Masih Ragu Dinikahi Anang

Keputusan Anang memilih Ashanty sebagai calon istrinya tak terbendung lagi. Namun, Ashanty masih menyimpan keraguan untuk bersedia dinikahi mantan suami Krisdayanti itu.

"Memang mereka pasangan yang tepat dan yang saya lihat tekad Anang untuk menikahi Ashanty sangat kuat. Tapi dari Ashanty masih ragu," ungkap peramal kartu tarot, Beby Djenar saat berbincang dengan okezone, Jumat (24/6/2011).

Keraguan wanita berdarah Arab itu karena masih tak menyangka Anang yang awalnya teman duet tiba-tiba menjadi kekasihnya. Anang menyatakan cintanya kepada Ashanty dalam acara Dahsyat beberapa waktu lalu.

"Alasannya karena karir. Karena awalnya dia dan Anang berkomitmen untuk menyanyi. Tapi dalam perjalanannya ternyata Anang benar-benar jatuh cinta sama Ashanty. Kondisi itu sepertinya yang masih belum diduga Ashanty," urainya.

Meski begitu, bukan berarti Ashanty tak mau menikah dengan Anang. Mantan bintang iklan chat & date itu hanya butuh waktu untuk terus diyakinkan jika Anang pria terbaik untuknya.

Bintang film The Amazing Spider-Man terlibat cinta lokasi. Tokoh Spider- Man, Andrew Garfield berkencan dengan lawan mainnya, Emma Stone.

Sebuah sumber mengatakan pada Us Weekly, "Mereka tidak go publik, tetapi dia mengatakan kepada teman-temannya. Mereka makin dekat selama syuting dan telah membuat komitmen untuk menjalin hubungan," ungkapnya.

Andrew baru saja putus dengan pacarnya, Shannon Woodward setelah menjalin hubungan selama 3 tahun. Emma Stone pun baru putus dengan kekasihnya, Kieran Culkin sebulan yang lalu.

Garfield putus dengan Shannon karena dia sibuk syuting film terbarunya, The Amazing Spider-Man yang mengambil begitu banyak waktunya.

Anang 99 Persen Ingin Nikahi Ashanty

Niat Anang untuk menikahi Ashanty sepertinya tak main-main. Bahkan, keinginan mantan suami Krisdayanti itu untuk mempersunting Ashanty hampir 100 persen.

"Anang 99 persen ingin menikah dengan Ashanty. Aku pernah ketemu mereka sebelum mereka jadian dan yang aku lihat aura Anang memang penuh cinta dan punya itikad baik," ungkap peramal Beby Djenar saat berbincang dengan okezone, Jumat (24/6/2011).

Justin Bieber Diserang Pria Misterius

Justin Bieber hadir di pusat perbelanjaan di New York untuk mempromosikan parfum barunya, Someday. Tiba-tiba saja seorang pria tak dikenal melompati penghalang dan menyerang bintang pop itu.

Sebuah laporan menyebutkan, penyerang itu sebenarnya adalah seorang perwira polisi yang menyamar. Dia sengaja melompat ke kerumunan Beliebers (sebutan fans Justin Bieber) untuk melindungi kekasih Selena Gomez itu dari kerumunan Beliebers yang semakin ramai.

Rupanya, menurut sang polisi yang menyamar itu, kerumunan gadis-gadis remaja tampak seperti akan menyerang Justin. Oleh karena itu, dia merasa harus mengambil tindakan untuk menyelamatkan Justin.

Paris Hilton Ingin Bangun Hotel Sendiri

Paris Hilton sepertinya ingin lepas dari bayang-bayang bisnis hotel keluarga Hilton. Cicit dari Conrad Hilton ini berniat untuk membangun hotel dan klub pantai sendiri.

Sosialita 30 tahun ini telah terlibat dalam berbagai petualangan bisnis. Sebut saja, parfum atas namanya sendiri, sepatu, dan pakaian serta memiliki saham di klub malam. Tetapi sekarang, dia ingin melebarkan sayap bisnisnya ke bidang real estate.

Ahmad Dhani Tetap Rahasiakan Anak Mulan Jameela

Ahmad Dhani tetap bersikeras merahasiakan kebenaran bayi perempuan Mulan Jameela. Padahal, mantan suami Mulan Jameela di salah satu tabloid mengaku pernah melihat anak ke tiga Mulan itu.

"Oh itu rahasia," tolak Dhani saat ditemui di Hard Rock Cafe, Jakarta, Kamis (23/6/2011) malam.

Bos Republik Cinta Manajemen (RCM) ini sepertinya tak mau peduli anggapan orang dan pemberitaan miring seputar kehamilan Mulan. Nama Dhani memang selalu dikait-kaitkan dengan kehamilan Mulan karena gosip pernikahan siri mereka.

"Saya sebagai artis, berita ngarang itu biasa," ucapnya.

Berbeda dengan Dhani, mantan suami Mulan, Harry Nugraha menanggapi serius hasil pemberitaan tentang dirinya di salah satu tabloid. Harry mengancam akan melapor ke Dewan Pers karena merasa hasil wawancara dengan isi pemberitaan berbeda jauh.

"Akan lapor ke Dewan Pers, tadinya mau jalur hukum. Kita dapatkan berita bahwa prosedurnya lewat dewan pers. Kita akan memfasilitasi untuk melaporkan Tabloid Nova ke Dewan Pers," tukasnya.

Seperti diketahui, mantan suami Mulan, Herry Nugraha di salah satu tabloid membeberkan kebenaran kabar Mulan melahirkan anak perempuan yang merupakan hasil hubungan dari Ahmad Dhani.

Bahkan, pria yang berprofesi sebagai musisi cafe di Bandung itu mengaku sudah melihat langsung sosok anak perempuan Mulan yang dinilainya sangat cantik. Harry juga mengaku bahagia dengan keluarga baru yang dibina Mulan dan Dhani.

Chelsea Olivia Sudah Biasa Digosipin Putus

Sama-sama sibuk syuting sinetron striping membuat hubungan Chelsea Olivia dan Glenn Alinskie dikabarkan putus. Namun, personel BBB ini memilih santai menanggapi gosip itu.

"Enggak kok, dari dulu memang selalu di kabarin renggang. Yang tahu hubungan kita hanya kita berdua," ujar Chelsea saat ditemui di kawasan Pancoran, Kamis (23/6/2011).

Mantan kekasih Ricky Harun ini bingung selalu digosipkan putus dengan Glenn. Padahal, hubungan mereka masih berjalan baik-baik saja.

"Sekarang aku malah bingung kenapa di gosip-gosipin. Entah aku apa Glenn yang cemburuan, malah aneh, ya terserahlah. Sejauh ini aku merasa baik-baik saja," tegasnya.

Chelsea mengakui akhir-akhir ini jarang bertemu dengan Glenn meski mereka syuting di lokasi yang sama.

"Kalau aku sama Glenn selalu mengenalkan lawan main. Apalagi kalau ada adegan seperti orang pacaran, apalagi syuting sudah cukup lama," jelasnya.

Adly Fairuz Nyaman Pacaran Jarak Jauh

Adly Fairuz tak masalah harus berpacaran jarak jauh dengan pacar barunya yang berprofesi sebagai dokter.

"Sudah biasa. Ini sudah tiga minggu enggak ketemu dengan dia. Komunikasi gampang ya, ada BBM, bisa Twitteran juga. Jadi enggak masalah buat saya," ucap Adly saat ditemui di studio RCTI, Kebun Jeruk, Jakarta, Jumat (24/6/2011).

Selain jarak yang jauh, kesibukan masing-masing juga membuat mereka jarang bertemu. Sebisa mungkin Adly menyempatkan waktu datang ke Bandung menemui kekasihnya.

"Kalau dia libur dia ke Jakarta dan kalau saya bisa ya saya ke Bandung. Saya ketemu keluarga dulu baru ketemu dia," jelasnya.

Hampir setahun Adly berpacaran dengan wanita bernama Lala itu. Mereka berdua sudah merasa nyaman dengan hubungannya selama ini.

"Saya juga sudah merasa nyaman dengan dia dan juga sudah merasa nyaman dengan keluarganya. Tapi kita juga enggak menargetkan serius harus ini itu. Kita jalanin saja tapi kenyamanan sudah ada," tandasnya.
