The final chapter begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.
After burying Dobby at the garden of the Shell cottage, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) convinced Griphook to help them get to Lestrange's vault in Gringott's, to retrieve one of Voldemort's Horcruxes in exchange for Godric Gryffindor's Sword. Meanwhile, Ollivander, the Wandmaker warns Harry that he won't stand a chance with Voldemort who has the Elder Wand. They arrived in Gringotts, Hermione (Emma Watson) posed as Bellatrix, using a Polyjuice Potion, Ron (Rupert Grint) disguised as a random wizard while Harry and Griphook go under the Invisibility Cloak.
With the help of Imperius curse, they managed to get through the tunnel but when their cover is blown, Gringott's security attacks them. They managed to get to Lestrange's vault and finds the Horcrux, Helga Hufflepuff's Cup, Griphook betrays them and flees with the sword. Harry grabs the Horcrux and the trio escaped using a captive dragon. As they swim ashore of a lake, after jumping off the dragon, Harry had a vision about Voldemort getting to Gringotts just after them, killing all the goblins, including Griphook due to frustration. Harry also saw that the relic of Rowena Ravenclaw, another Horcrux is just somewhere inside the Hogwarts Castle.

The three Apparate to Hogsmeade in hopes of sneaking into the school but is interrupted by Death Eaters that are roaming the area. They are saved by Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus's brother, it is revealed that he's the one who Harry keeps seeing through the mirror that he have. The trio used a passageway to Hogwarts provided by Aberforth, Neville Longbottom leads the way. The group arrived at the Room of Requirement where Dumbledore's Army made a resistance from Snape's regime who is now the Headmaster. Harry confronted him, Minerva McGonagall intervened and fought Severus, who flee instantly. Meanwhile, Voldemort summoned all his affiliates and rounds the Hogwarts. McGonagall and the other Hogwarts staff made a barrier to keep the school safe from any attack. Hermione and Ron gets back to the Chamber of Secrets, broke Hufflepuff's Cup and shared their first kiss. Harry, with the help of Rowena Ravenclaw's ghost daughter, Helena, found the Ravenclaw Diadem and is destroyed when Malfoy and his gang created a fire. Voldemort then used the Elder Wand to destroy the Hogwarts barrier but he is positive that the wand is not working well with him, as it will only work with the one who killed it's former owner, Snape.
He meets Snape in a boat port who is then numerously bitten by Nagini under the orders of Voldemort, for him to use the Elder Wand well. Harry, Ron and Hermione gets into Snape's aid, he then dies admiring how Harry got Lilly Potter's eyes. Harry uses Snape's tear and gets into Pensieve where he sees that Snape is in fact in love with Lilly and they knew each other since they were children. When Lilly gives birth to Harry, Snape runs to Dumbledore to keep them safe from Voldemort. At the night when Harry's parents died, Snape arrives and is compltely distraught at what he sees. It is revealed that Snape cared for Harry since the very beginning. Voldemort then gets into everyone's head as the Battle of Hogwarts -- where Tonks, Lupin, Fred Weasley and Lavender brown died, occur, he taunts Harry to meet him at Forbidden Forest in exchange of his comrades retreating and keeping his other friends safe. Harry then goes, as the snitch opens, the Resurrection Stone appears and his deceased loved ones arrived and help him gets ready for death. Harry faces Voldemort who strikes his Killing Curse.
Harry wakes up inside a sort of a dream and he talks with Dumbledore who reveals that Harry is in fact a Horcrux and he's still tied to the living world through Voldemort. Believing that he is truly dead, Voldemort's army marches down to the defenseless Hogwarts while Harry is being carried by the tied Hagrid. Voldemort torments the students and staff as they are now vulnerable and he's ready for anyone who wants to join him. Harry reveals himself to be alive and casts a spell to Voldemort and his army, the other Death Eaters flee, including the Malfoy family. Battle ensues inside the castle, Harry and Voldemort faces off and continously strikes spells to each other. On the other hand, Hermione and Ron tries to kill the last Horcrux, Nagini but failed to do the attempt and when the snake is about to attack them, Neville kills it by decapitating its head off using the Gryffindor sword he found inside the Sorting Hat. With his last Horcrux broken, Voldemort succumbs into Harry's magic. 19 years later, Harry and Ginny are now parents and is guiding Albus Severus Potter at his first year in Hogwarts. Along with Ron and Hermione who are now married too, they watch their children about to experience the most exciting adventure of their lives.
