Spielberg, Shmielberg. Megan Fox Keeps Her Movie Career Going

Steven Spielberg may not want to have anything to do with Megan Fox. But that doesn't seem to be slowing the gal down at all.

Sure, director Michael Bay told GQ that the Oscar-winning filmmaker had him get rid of the actress before rolling on the latest Transformers flick after Spielberg (the movie's executive producer) supposedly took issue with Fox's comment that Bay "wants to be like Adolf Hitler."

However, it looks like the stunning star may not need that film franchise, anyway.

Fox has just landed a cameo in The Dictator, the upcoming comedy starring Sacha Baron Cohen that is currently in production, according to The Hollywood Reporter. However, what her role will be exactly is being kept under wraps. Looks like we may have to just wait for its release next May.

But that isn't Fox's only post-Transformers gig. The 25-year-old actress recently completed work on the dramedy Friends With Kids starring Kristen Wiig, and she'll be keeping busy later this summer shooting Judd Apatow's movie This Is Forty, a spinoff film to Knocked Up.

So what do you think? Was Fox's firing actually a blessing in disguise?
