Lady Gaga is on the Edge of...a lawsuit after being accused of ripping off her own Japanese earthquake charity. According to a message on 1-800-LAW-FIRM, a lawsuit has been filed against Gaga claiming that she scammed money from the sale of her We Pray For Japan wristbands which was supposed to go to the victims of the disaster. An attorney stated, "I'm suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for." Say it isn't so Gaga!
Apparently the Edge of Glory singer charged $5 for the wristbands, $3.99 for shipping and handling and $0.60 for taxes. The law firm claims she inflated the costs and took a profit for herself. It's also highly suspicious since they insist that Gaga refused to reveal how much of the $5 actually goes to the Japanese victims. These accusations could seriously damage Gaga's reputation, let along decrease the following of her Little Monsters. Is this another case of an idol falling from grace or just a huge misunderstanding? The hand is dealt, the bets have been placed and now it's time to call her out and see just how good her Poker Face actually is.
